So am I the only person in the world who thinks these girls just look like trashy cheap whores? They don't half get a lot of praise and I just don't get it. Sexing up Disney characters is nothing new nor original, you can buy similar costumes for £5 from any fancy dress shop, yet people praise these girls like they've just invented bread.

These girls go to Comic Con every year, and I actually know the girl who plays Cinderella. Their costumes are actually much nicer in person than they do here. But I absolutely agree that they just look terribly cheap and whorish and really boring actually. I think the Princes Aurora one just looks horrid.

I. Cannot. STAND. that 'sexy Disney princesses' cosplay group. I completely agree with you, it's just cheap and trashy, not to mention a pretty desperate grab for attention.

I totally agree with you, in spite of the fact that I don't hate the idea of sexing up Disney and/or fairytale characters in general. I think it can be done in a way that's cute and even classy looking, but I don't think that's what's on display here. You got it spot on when you said "trashy cheap whores," I think. Every time I see these costumes I'm horrified. It's nothing personal against the girls in the costumes because they're all obviously attractive and probably very nice people, but I really hate these costumes. They just look gross to me, especially Aurora and Ariel. And yet, for some reason, people go gaga over them.

I think that the super-hero/ horror movie versions of the Disney Princess that are out are much better/ classier than any of these.

I AM SO GLAD YOU SAID THIS BECAUSE I ALWAYS THINK IT. I don't understand why they've spent so much money on these costumes when theycould've made amazing versions of the actual costumes instead. They've paid for millions of makeup artists and photoshoots as well and I don't know why.

They're really well made and it just annoys me they don't put that effort into the actual costumes instead.

my friend is best friends with the girl who is aurora. i think aurora's costume is TOO much. i personally LOVE ariel's costume and tinkerbells cus theirs looks more original. like DISNEYLAND original. snow white's looks like she got it from the costume store. and belle, cinderella and princess jasmine. i loved them the first year. now its just annoying.

Yeah, I'm not a big fan.

But what cracks me up is that the Jasmine costume is pretty much the same as the film/park version, save for the pant slits. xDD That outfit was risqué to begin with!

The Aurora one is plain gross, though.
