They say the nile used to run from east to west
My first post from my brand new laptop!

Finally got everything up and running and installed and transfered (which is why I've been abit unactive for a few days). I've still got my old laptop set up next to me though as I have to keep checking passwords that are saved on it and none of my favourites are on here yet, I'm gonna just bookmark stuff as I need it as my favourites list on my old laptop is hundreds long. I don't even use most of them.

It feels so good to finally have a new laptop though! I can actually type on the proper keyboard and its so much quicker! I'm really liking using Vista at the moment aswell, though I'm trying not to get too attached as it'll be upgraded to Windows 7 in a couple of weeks. And I'm thrilled that I managed to transfer my illegal copy of Photoshop CS3 with no problems, I was worried about loosing it.

I just need to get/make myself a snazzy new desktop image now.

Oh and unrelated, but yesterday instead of a job interview they wanted to give me a "work trial". Next time I'm asked for one of those I'm just gonna tell them to go fuck themselves. It was awful, I thought it'd probably just be about an hour of them showing me what the job entails. Nope. They put me in a room by myself for three fucking hours with a telephone to answer and didn't give me so much as a clue as to what to say on said phone. Hopefully I won't be offered the job, and if I am I shall just turn it down, no way am I working there.

But yay, new laptop! ^^

Yay new laptop! :D I really love Vista, but it can be so cranky and seems to require so much maintenance to make it last. The old desktop we had only ran Vista efficiently for about a year, then it started to die. Hopefully Windows 7 will be much better.

Also: I hate job training like that. When I briefly worked for Petsmart, I was stuck in the employee break room in front of the TV for hours, just watching pointless "training" videos and nothing else...they didn't even really train you for anything. Lazy management at its finest.
