I updated my LJ layout and profile. Decided on a simple, minimalist look. I really hate writing out profiles, I never know what to say, but I hate to leave it blank, especially as my journal is friends only. I always think it looks abit unfriendly to not write something there when your journal is FO.
I was thrilled to go into Tescos for the first time in ages and walk down the Christmas isle! It felt magical, I couldn't resist buying a few things. And its chestnut season again too! Oh I do love chestnuts!

I also bought myself a new dress which feels ever so Christmasy to me too (red tartan always does, I think its because my mum used to tie red tartan ribbon bows on our Christmas tree when I was little). It was £70 (I bought it before the police dramaz) and it was worth every single penny ♥

And I finished binding my sketchbook! Personally its my favourite book I've ever bound and I can't wait to start drawing in it (I have to wait though, I need to work on my portfolio more first. Priorities!) But hopefully they'll be equally as impressed with it at my uni interveiws! It was supposed to be a red faux suede cover, but when the fabric arrived (I had to mail order it) it looked more like a velvet. But I'm not too bothered, I love the result:

I thought I might make some jewellery to wear to the interveiws too, for further examples of what I can do.
And lastly, I finally decided what to do with my dreamwidth account:
fantine. I've turned it into an art blog as I don't have one already. And it'll be better than my dA account as I'll post non fanart peices and in progress photographs and stuff. Should be good! Now I'm a srs bns artist.
