I'm SO upset at the moment. My CF card for my DSLR just screwed up and I basically had to format it just to get it to work and I lost a ton of photos I'll never be able to replace. There was a Titanic exhibit I went to and photos of some wild baby seals.

Today I went for a bit of retail therapy to cheer myself up and get some last bits of Christmas shopping done. I bought myself a Moleskine sketchbook, I needed a new little sketchbook for my handbag and thought I'd see what the fuss is about with these overpriced books (I don't mind spending a little extra on art materials though). And I must say I'm impressed, I've already started drawing in it so I might get these sketchbooks all the time now.





I also bought some stud earrings, once my abscess is completely healed (I'm still in the bandage) I'm going to try and see if I can still use the second set of holes I have in my ear lobes. I've not worn anything in them for about 6/7 years or so and more than anything am just curious to see if I still can.

And I saw they sell macaroons in Marks and Spencers at the moment! YUM

Ugh, that's what pisses me off about a lot of companies. Either I work a lot and get days off when I ask in exchange for all my work, or I get a livable 9-5 type of schedule. Best of luck finding another job, sounds like they don't deserve you as an employee at all. :/

I actually know exactly how you're feeling with all of this, and I do say it will get better (and the retail therapy helps, for sure!).

I'm SO sorry you don't think the job's going to work out--you were pretty excited about it! But try and struggle through as long as you can and save up some cash. But when it's unbearable, it's unbearable and time to quit! (They'll be fine with it, I promise!)

As for the camera--eep. I lost over half of 1000+ pictures from Disney World from a faulty memory card. Nothing could be done to fix it (or recover the pictures, sadly) and I finally decided to replace it instead of risk that happening again. :('

And your sketches! That Alice is adorable!! And that other girl is all kinds of crazy-cool!
