I totally agree with you, in spite of the fact that I don't hate the idea of sexing up Disney and/or fairytale characters in general. I think it can be done in a way that's cute and even classy looking, but I don't think that's what's on display here. You got it spot on when you said "trashy cheap whores," I think. Every time I see these costumes I'm horrified. It's nothing personal against the girls in the costumes because they're all obviously attractive and probably very nice people, but I really hate these costumes. They just look gross to me, especially Aurora and Ariel. And yet, for some reason, people go gaga over them.

I think that the super-hero/ horror movie versions of the Disney Princess that are out are much better/ classier than any of these.
