Smile, it's your birthday!

I had a pretty good birthday, just spent it with my folks. I took a sickie at work, I'm sure they'll work it out but I don't care. I knew I was gonna be on the one ride I hate the absolute most and was gonna be working with the most miserable bastard who works at the park so I though "no thank you!" Not how I wanna spend my birthday! So I just chilled all day at home, and then went out with my parents for a meal this evening.
This is what I got for my birthday. I was really suprised I got anything at all to be honest as I thought I'd had all my presents already:
A fancy mascara (one that vibrates, not sure I like it yet!), coconut body stuff from The Body Shop (I love coconut), mango lip balm from The Body Shop, a Radley leather bound notebook and a big bottle of Tia Maria (the only alcohol I really drink). I also got a gold necklace with a key pendant on (because its my 21st and apparently its tradition to get a key) but that isn't in the picture.
My cake. We started digging into it and then I suddenly thought "crap, I wanted a picture of it!" ><
And this is what I wore to the restaurant. We went to a really nice local Chinese restaurant. The lady who owns it is absolutely lovely, she kinda knows my parents as they go there alot so she came over to chat. My mum told her it was my birthday and she asked how old and when I told her 21 her eyes nearly dropped out. She said she thought I was only 14/15. She was really apologetic and seemed to think she'd offended me but actually she totally made my day! Haha I love people thinking I'm younger! I have an age complex already XD
I felt really lucky today so I entered the lottery. I thought I might aswell especially as the actual draw is tonight, imagine if I won 7.5 million on my 21st birthday! I won £7 on a scratchcard today, my first ever one!
ETA: I forgot to say that tonight was also the first time I managed to use chopsticks! ^^ Major achievement!

Sounds like you had an amazing birthday and you got some really lovely gifts.
Also, I have to say how pretty your dress is and of course how pretty you are and I agree with the waitress you don't look 21 at all..funny, thing is people tell me I look 14/15 and I get soooo upset because I don't think I look that young (16 maybe but, not 14) so, I kind of have to bite my tongue when people think I'm sooo young..I am sure when I'm about like 40 or 50 and only look 20 I won't mind at all but, right now I honestly wish I could feel good when people say stuff like that like you do. What's the secret behind that?

The pendant sounds really cute. I've heard abit about the key tradition, my mum had a birthday card the shape of a key for hers.. wonder what I'll be getting next year ^__^.
