Today was a good day. I hadn't planned to do much, just exchange some faulty shoes at Topshop then pop on down to an art shop I've heard rave reviews about (which wasn't that good tbh).

But my day was made all the more awesome by a wonderful little candy store I found on my wanders that sold foreign sweets:

Hello Pandas I buy when ever I see them if I have the money as I'm addicted. The tin of Japanese sweets (which I've photographed upside down ><) is a replica from Grave of the Fireflies. And the rest are all American candys that I've heard so much about and now I finally get to sample for myself! I'm especially excited for the taffy, I've never had a clue what taffy is other than something chewy. The Twinkie looks absolutely disgusting to me, but I'm going to eat it regardless. I had Peanut Butter M&Ms when I visited Florida and I loved them! They were the only American sweet I tried at the time so I'm looking forward to eating them again. And you guys have SKITTLES! I didn't know this, I arrogantly thought they were just a British thing, but you guys get them in better flavours apparently. This shop also sold Lucky Charms cereal for a whole £1 cheaper than Selfridges, but my money didn't stretch that far unfortunately (they were £6.50 a box). And Nerds I've not had since I was a little kid, I don't think we can get them in the UK anymore (nor Dweebs, do you guys still have them abroad?)

OH MAN! Twizzlers, Twinkies, Skittles, PB M&Ms, Nerrrrds, Hershey's! ALL good choices!

Okay, confession: I know the Twinkie looks...odd...but it's one of my favorite things on this earth. The cream filling...I'm salivating at the thought. I'm a little surprised you don't have most of those in Britain, though. I mean, all the American stuff you picked up are staples here.

Oh, and we must take credit for the Skittles. xDD

Haha, the Twinkie doesn't look that bad, the cakey bit just looks terribly yellow and processed to me XD I shall certainly try it though, I love creamy things.

In Britian all we really have in the candy area is Cadbury's and Nestle stuff, other companies don't get much of a look in. Though I'm surprised Skittles and M&Ms haven't released the different flavours over here, I imagine they'd be a hit if they did!

We do indeed have Skittles, lots of them. In all kinds of weird flavors: fizzy, fruity, smoothie, sour...there's probably as many flavors as the M&Ms. Taffy is delicious, if you can work with the texture (some can't).

And OMG, 6.50 GBP for Lucky Charms?? o_O

Hello Pandas are pretty easy to get a hold of in London, they sell them all over China Town, but I still get terribly excited over them! XD

We have Skittles in the regulr flavour packet (the red one, you know?) and the sours, but the other flavours you guys have are amazing, I can't understand why they don't sell them over here! The "Crazy Core" ones I had were delicious!

Haha, 6.50GBP is pretty cheap for Lucky Charms over here >< They used to be sold regularly in supermarkets but were withdrawn and now are only sold over priced in specialist stores. But oh how I love them!

I'm not much of a candy person, but watch out for anything with Oreos in it. They are addicting. :D

We get normal regular Oreo cookies over here, but they've only been released fairly recently and they're delicious! I'm most intriged by the cake version I bought! From what I understand though you guys can get pretty much anything in Oreo flavour?
